You can use this 6 Step process to organize your answers and help guide you through solving problems.

Discovering Geometry Resources -- this set of resources is paired with an older version of the textbook, but it is still a great resource if you want more practice
- Homework will be due at the beginning of class.
- It should be completed on a separate sheet of paper in clear legible handwriting.
- Students should show the problem along with all their work.
- If a student feels unable to answer an assigned problem, he/she should write out what they did not understand or where they got stuck.
- No late homework will be accepted.
Problem Solving Techniques
You can use this 6 Step process to organize your answers and help guide you through solving problems.
- Given -- List out all the information given to you in the problem
- Find -- Determine what it is you are trying to solve for to define your goal
- Draw -- Draw a diagram to help you visualize the problem
- Relevant Definitions/Equations -- List any relevant definitions or equations that you think may be helpful to solve the problem
- Solve -- Combine the information you are given with any tools you have from your notes to obtain the solution
- Check -- Analyze your results to confirm they are reasonable
